Mother Shirley Green serves as the 1^st Vice President of the Pastor Staff.  She has been a member of the AOH Church of God for more than 45 years.  Her love for the church and love for God’s people is extraordinary.  She is a mother of six children, a grandmother and great-grandmother of several children.  Mother Green has been a licensed minister for more than 20 years.  Her love for feeding people is exemplified as she is over the Kitchen Staff at Joyful Noise.  Professionally she is a certified nursing assistant, providing care for several members of the city and communities abroad.  She is a praying woman that seeks God for His will to be done.  Her hobbies include cooking, gardening, interior decorating, and spending time with her family.

Deacon Joel Lawson is the 2^nd vice president of the Pastoral Staff.  He has been a member of Joyful Noise for 11 years.  He is the vice chairperson of the deacon board and a proud member of the brotherhood ministry.  Deacon Joel is the Superintendent of the Sunday School where he often says that we should not just read the word, but apply it to our lives. Deacon Joel is a member of the trustee board and a musician.  Outside of church, he works as an Electrical Engineer for the Neptune Technology Group in Tallassee AL.  He received his B. S. in Electrical Engineering from Auburn University.  He is married to Sister Angela Lawson and has one son Joel (JL) Lawson Jr.  Deacon Joel loves the Lord, is dedicated to the work of the church, and is determined to grow stronger in the Lord.

Evangelist Tabitha Tilley serves as the chaplain of the Pastoral Staff.  She has been a member of Joyful Noise for more than 25 years.  She is our pastor’s middle daughter, one of seven children.  Her qualifications include:  licensed minister since 2006, Registered Nurse since 2004, Joyful Noise Nurses’ Guild, Associate Minister, and contributing author to the AOH National Youth Educator.  She is a wife and mother.  Her goals are to please the Lord in all of her ways.  Her favorite scripture is II Corinthians 2:14, “Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.”

Sebrena Wood is the eldest living child of Overseer Dr. Johnnie L. Woods, Jr. and Mother Yolanda Woods.  She currently serves as Advisor for the Pastoral Staff of the Joyful Noise A.O.H. Church of God where she also serves as Youth President and Minister of Music.  She began her music ministry as a pianist for her father at the young age of 9 years old and has been a member of the AOH Church since this humble age. Her musical background includes her as one of the first musicians of the Jacksonville State University’s Gospel Choir where she created her own Women’s Chorus and begun training other young pianists as well.

In addition to her musical background, Sister Wood accepted her call into the ministry on September 7, 2008. She is married to the love her life, Terry W. Wood and mother to their three beautiful daughters; Gabrianna, Christiana and Teriana Wood. She has declared that Satan is defeated but our God is Victorious! Her desire is to minister the Word of God to His people through divine impartation and inspiration.

Sister Lawson is the parliamentarian of the Pastoral Staff.  She has been a member of Joyful Noise for ten years.  During those years, she has served faithfully as the church secretary and is now the assistant secretary. Sister Angela is a dedicated member of the Choir, she sings on the Praise Team, and she teaches the Senior High Sunday School class.  Outside of church, she works as a mathematics teacher for the Talladega County Public School at BB Comer Memorial High School. She received her B.S. in Secondary Mathematics Education from Auburn University.  She is married to Deacon Joel Lawson and has one son Joel (JL) Lawson Jr.  She loves the Lord, her family, and her church family, and she is full of the Holy Ghost.

Sister Angela Lawson Parliamentarian

Sister Barclay serves as the Secretary for the Joyful Noise Pastoral Staff.  She has been a member of the A.O.H. church family for over 47 years and is the daughter of the late Deacon Bennie and Mother Virtie Ford.  Growing up in this great church has allowed her to serve in many capacities such as Secretary of the National Public Relations department, choir, usher board, Sunday school teacher and secretary, announcing clerk to name a few.  She received her Juris Doctorate from the Birmingham School of Law and her Bachelor of Science from Alabama A&M University.  She is a certified public speaker by Toastmasters International and is always excited to talk about the goodness of the Lord.  She is the Corporate Compliance Manager for Cahaba Government Benefit Administrators, which is an affiliate of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama.  She is happily married to Ricky and they have two sons Bryan and Corey.  She is running the race for Christ.

Elder Julius Woods serves as the pastor’s personal assistant.  His duties include: conducting services in the pastor’s absence, seeing that the needs of the pastor are met, and following the instructions of the leader as he is divinely led.  Elder Woods is the 6^th child of our pastor and first lady.  He began preaching the gospel in September 2005.  Currently he is enrolled at Faulkner University in Birmingham, AL.  He is also the Vice President of the National Youth Convention of the AOH Church of God.  Elder Woods is a husband and father.  He is well versed in the knowledge of the word, as well as anointed to preach the gospel with passion and purpose.

Deacon Wood is an advisor of the Pastoral Staff.  He has been a member of Joyful Noise for 16 years in which he serves on the Deacon Board, finance Committee co-chairman, and trustee board.  His belief is the only opinion that matters is the opinion we have of ourselves.  He is employed by Doncasters Southern Tool where he serves as both NDE Responsible Level 3 and RSO (Radiation Safety Officer).  He is married to his Queen, Sebrena Wood and they have three beautiful princesses, Gabrianna, Christiana, and Teriana, and he is determined to make it to that City.
