In June of 1985, God saw fit to send Joyful Noise an anointed leader who would prepare the church for these last days of perilous times.  God in His infinite wisdom gave the A.O.H. Church of God, Inc. and it’s governing officials, the insight to appoint (Elder Johnnie L. Woods Jr.) as shepherd to the flock at Joyful Noise.  Under the spiritual leadership of this anointed leader who has a passion for the church and compassion for the flock, the Joyful Noise Church family has experienced financial as well as spiritual elevation. 

At God’s appointed time, God gave Overseer Johnnie L. Woods Jr. a vision. The vision was to build “God” a house. Through much prayer and fasting and at the set time, Overseer Woods shared the vision with the church. It was with great determination and an unwavering faith that Overseer Woods went through many tears, disappointments, countless hours on the highway, sleepless nights, and monetary sacrifices to get the congregation to finally see that together we stand and with God’s help we can take the mountain.  Our mission and goal is to meet the needs of the “Total Man” please feel free to join us and worship the Lord in the beauty of Holiness.
